Grace Olamijulo, Founder of Nurse Neighbor Kids
About the Founder

Meet Grace Olamijulo

Nurse Practitioner · Educator · Mother

Grace Olamijulo is a licensed nurse practitioner, mother, educator, and community member with more than 15 years of clinical experience across pediatric, primary care, oncology, hospice, and telehealth settings.

A lifelong learner with a strong academic foundation, Grace earned special academic honors throughout her education, including admission to New York City’s specialized high school system at Brooklyn Technical High School, undergraduate studies at Hope College, and completion of her teaching residency through University of Pennsylvania.

As both a healthcare professional and mother, Grace created Nurse Neighbor Kids by Angels of Grace Wellness to be a true “home away from home” for local families — a calm, nurturing, enrichment-centered afterschool experience designed to support both children and working parents.

She is passionate about preparing children for an AI-forward future by emphasizing the skills technology cannot replace — communication, confidence, creativity, wellness, curiosity, and human connection. The program prioritizes language attainment toward multilingual fluency, health and wellness education, music exposure, structured homework support, and emotional safety within a warm home environment.

Grace opens her home to share not only her professional skills and educational values, but also the care, structure, and resources she would want for her own child.

Nurse Neighbor Kids is exclusively for children in Valley Stream, NY and surrounding areas, ages 5–12. We serve working families who need reliable afterschool care that goes beyond babysitting — including enrichment, transportation, and wellness access.
We handle pickup directly from Forest Road Elementary at 2:50–3:00 PM each day. You'll complete a transportation authorization form at enrollment. Staff are present at pickup and children are transported in a structured, supervised manner. You don't need to coordinate anything on your end.
The program runs 2:50pm–6:00pm with a built-in flexible pickup window until 6:15 PM at no additional charge. We understand commutes run long and meetings don't always end on time. Simply notify us in advance when possible.
Our founder is a credentialed Nurse Practitioner. Routine primary care and pediatric wellness check-ins are available — meaning your child has access to care during program hours rather than requiring you to take time off work. Details on scope of care will be shared at enrollment and in parent onboarding materials.
Children receive exposure to Spanish, Mandarin, French, and Italian through structured enrichment rotations appropriate for ages 5–12. The management of the program will determine when language training will start and communicate with families enrolled.
