Not subject to lottery or strict income cut-offs. Structured homework check-in every day so your child arrives home ready for dinner — not a homework battle. Safe, supervised, and genuinely engaging every afternoon.
Transportation is Included
We offer reliable pickup services directly from Forest Road Elementary at 2:50 PM. You don't need to leave work at 3PM. We walk and pick up your child — no extra coordination required on your end.
Pediatric Wellness Access
Doctor's offices are 9-to-5. You do not need to burn vacation days just to get your child seen. We offer routine primary care and pediatric wellness led by a Nurse Practitioner — during program hours, not during your work day.
Language & Music Classes Available
No extra drop-offs, extra billing, or extra scheduling. Starting with Language classes and rolling out Music in Q2. Spanish, Mandarin, French, and Italian — all integrated into the program.
Flexible Late Pickup Service
Traffic happens. Meetings run long. Program runs 3:00–6:00 PM with a flexible pickup window until 6:15 PM at no additional charge. Simply notify us in advance when possible.

Nurse Neighbor Kids is a residential after-school arts and wellness program serving families connected to Forest Road Elementary School in Valley Stream, NY.
Our mission is simple: To help working families reduce after-school stress while providing children with enrichment, structure, safety, and support.

Meet Grace Olamijulo
Grace Olamijulo is a licensed nurse practitioner, mother, educator, and community member with more than 15 years of clinical experience across pediatric, primary care, oncology, hospice, and telehealth settings.
A lifelong learner with a strong academic foundation, Grace earned special academic honors throughout her education, including admission to New York City’s specialized high school system at Brooklyn Technical High School, undergraduate studies at Hope College, and completion of her teaching residency through University of Pennsylvania.
As both a healthcare professional and mother, Grace created Nurse Neighbor Kids by Angels of Grace Wellness to be a true “home away from home” for local families — a calm, nurturing, enrichment-centered afterschool experience designed to support both children and working parents.
She is passionate about preparing children for an AI-forward future by emphasizing the skills technology cannot replace — communication, confidence, creativity, wellness, curiosity, and human connection. The program prioritizes language attainment toward multilingual fluency, health and wellness education, music exposure, structured homework support, and emotional safety within a warm home environment.
Grace opens her home to share not only her professional skills and educational values, but also the care, structure, and resources she would want for her own child.

Structured After-School Care
Children are welcomed into a safe, supervised, and engaging environment every afternoon from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Homework Support
Dedicated homework check-in and support time helps children stay organized and develop positive study habits.
Language Exposure
Students are introduced to foundational exposure in multiple languages through structured enrichment rotations.
Music Foundations
Children explore music fundamentals in a fun, encouraging environment promoting creativity and confidence. Rolling out Q2.
Transportation Included
